Finite Elements to Computational Engineering Sciences
AJ Baker, University of Tennessee, Knoxville
Email:
This site develops discrete implementations of WS theory for diverse variety of problem statements
in the computational engineering sciences. Unique to the FE discrete development, the resulting
algorithms are immediately stated in computable form via a transparent object-oriented programming
syntax. The engineering science problem classes developed herein include.
1. heat conduction
2. structural mechanics
3. mechanical vibrations
4. heat transfer, with convection and radiation
5. fluid mechanics
6. heat/mass convective transport
