Prediction of Electromagnetic Signatures of Naval Vessels with COMSOL Multiphysics — On Demand

Characterizing the electrical and magnetic signatures of naval vessels has become increasingly important for the avoidance of threats and detection, as well as for novel magnetic navigation technologies in environments where Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) signals are unavailable. Modeling and simulation can be used early in the design stage of such vessels to predict and gain a better understanding of their electromagnetic signatures.
In this webinar, we will go over the capabilities of the COMSOL Multiphysics software for predicting the electrical and magnetic signatures of ships and submarines related to corrosion. We will include a brief demonstration in the software of how to achieve this on various ship and submarine geometries. In addition, we will discuss the use of complex multiphysics phenomena and digital twins in this field. The webinar will conclude with a Q&A session.
