I have column where I am looking at particles in fluid stream being deposited on a substrate and accumulating there as a second phase.
In essence, I start off with one phase 2 component and end up with two phase 2 component system. The second phase being the solids which accumulate. As far as I can see, its a moving boundary problem which has two phases (one solid and one liquid around it).
I looked at multiphase transport model (two phase level set and two phase field method, mixture models) and I am not quite sure how I will be able to implement these for my system.
I am hoping to solve this by using two non newtonian fluid flow equation for the two phases and stefan maxwell multicomponent diffusion equation coupled with a moving boundary but I am not quite sure how to proceed.
Any help on how to proceed or example will be appreciated.
Thank you!
