Hello,
I have a problem with an imported 3D Femur geometry from STL file (before importing the file I chose a 0.01 Defect removal factor). Converting to solid was already successful, but the problem is that I cannot build a mesh. The errors are as follow:
- Failed to generate mesh for face
- Ignored edges cause an inconsistent edge discretization. Try to create a finer mesh. (it does not work even with "extremely fine" mesh)
I already ignored all edges and faces, but it did not work. When I do not ignore the edges, then COMSOL requires to "ignore" the edges or the faces. I also try to merge the edges, but that didn't work either. I am also not able to use chamber, fillet or repair as "Operation not supported on virtual geometry."
Do you have any idea how can I solve this problem? It is a very important project for me and I would be very grateful, if someone can help me.
Thank you!
Regards, Tsvete
