When I export a solution, it looks like only the first order elements (i.e, in 2D, the triangles and their central value) are exported, even though it's being solved second order.
Is there a way to export the second order elements? I'm importing the field-map into Garfield. Presumably older versions of Comsol could do this... (see garfield.web.cern.ch/garfield/help/garfield_10.html#Ref0054 )

I want to know whether you have solved this problem. I encounter the same thing. Garfield can't recognise the file exported from comsol 5.

Hello All,
Garfield is a 3rd party software, and it seems that their developers have written some import functionality for COMSOL Multiphysics data. If you are having trouble with their functionality, it would be more appropriate to post your questions to their support forums. You would be more likely to get a resolution to your questions there.
