Using Batch File on COMSOL

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Hello, I am running COMSOL 6.1 and am attempting to run a series of time dependent heat transfer studies using a batch file in the command window. It seems to recognize the batch file, but it gives following error: 'comsolbatch' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file.

The batch file contains the following:

comsolbatch -inputfile Test1.mph -outputfile Test1_solved.mph comsolbatch -inputfile Test2.mph -outputfile Test2_solved.mph

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi Amari,

You need to add the path to the COMSOL executables to the Windows path environment variable. See the blog post dated December 20, 2016 for more info on this topic.
