Creating Hall Effect in graphene

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I have been creating a simulation that emulates the Hall Effect in a 1cm x 1cm x 1mm piece of graphite (essentially trying my best to create graphene). I am doing this project to measure the electric potential (plus current distribution) and Hall resistance of graphene.

In my project, I have been able to create a graphene chip with a current terminal and ground across two ports (which has created a Study of electric potential inside the chip). I have done this using the Electric Current (ec) feature. Separately, I have also created a magnetic field from a finite solenoid. I have done this using the Magnetic Fields (mf) feature.

MY QUESTION: How do I combine these two components? I want to place this chip within the magnetic field, then measure the effects. Thus far, I have ran into an error that says: "Failed to evaluate initial residual for segregated step 2. Undefined material property 'mur' required by Ampère's Law 1" Any help is much appreciated!

(Also, I am new at COMSOL, lol. I haven't bought any added features for this (ie no Semiconductor module.)
