Heat transfer in pipes inside a soil/porous media

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

Good morning,

In my model I have to model the heat transfer in pipes. Those pipes are placed on a concrete wall and are in contact with the ground (a porous media). When I had the 'heat transfer in solid and liquid interface' and the non-isothermal pipe flow, everything worked pretty well. But If I use 'Heat transfer in a porous media' instead of the ''heat transfer in solid and liquid interface', then the initial temperature in the pipes results in values below the 0°C and, sometimes, the fluid flow but does not exchange heat.

Is it possible that the 'Heat transfer in porous media' does not work well with the pipes?

Thanks to who will answer.
