how to define events for time discrete solver in comsol?

Hi,

I need to cycle my designed battery model for charging/discharging processes. I used to do it with Events node when using Time-dependent solver, but currently the model become much bigger and can't handle by time-dependent solver. I need to continue with time discrete solver, however seemingly Events are not designed to be used by time discrete solver.

anyone can help on this issue?
