Arc Length Method in cohesive forces modeling

Hi, every one, I have a problem of snap back curve of a crack point advancement. At a certain value of sigma (the applied force), at y axis, and crack propogation, at x axis. as it shows in following capture; the snap-back shows when sigma increases, the crack advances. How to implement the Arc Length method on COMSOL to control the charge increasing and the displacement increasing.

Introduing an arc length method is more complicated, but here is an example for comparison:
