bias coil and excitation coil

I want to conduct a simulation of a transducer. The overall structure is a cylinder. The coil part consists of an inner bias coil and an outer excitation coil. The bias coil provides a constant bias magnetic field, while the excitation coil provides an alternating magnetic field. How should I set up the bias coil to be energized by direct current, and the excitation coil to be energized by alternating current of a certain frequency?

- If your problem is strictly linear, you can model the two cases separately and add the fields and other results of interest. You can model the bias coil in a static model. and the excitation coil in a frequency-domain model.
- if your problem is nonlinear, then model the whole configuration in the time domain, applying a constant current to the bias coil and a (time domain) sinusoidal current to the other coil.
