Temperature-dependent heat source

I have two power settings (domain heat source) on a radio model, P_transmit (~2W) and P_receive (~0.2W), and I am trying to implement what by every intuition should be a very simple switching statement to prevent overheating. I want it to start in transmit mode and switch to receive mode when it hits 313 K, then stay in receive mode until it cools to 293 K, then switch back to transmit mode, etc. This will allow me to calculate a duty cycle.
However, I cannot think of a way to implement this that does not require referencing the current power setting, which leads to a circular variable reference error in COMSOL. Is there a straightforward way to do something like this?
