Hello everyone.... I am working in magnetic and electric interface in AC/DC module. I applied a current to a conductor and want to measure the magnetic flux density along a line lying along the y-axis. For this I made a 1D plot(cutline) along along y-axis. Like I define a cutline 3D as I am working in 3D along the y-axis and in 1D plot I plotted mef.Bz the z-component with respect to y-axis it is giving me a nice and fine graph now i want to take the derivative of mef.Bz along y-axis, when i wrote the expression d(mef.Bz,y) it returned a zero valued graph although mef.Bz is not constant or zero along y-axis. Could anyone help weather the derivative i am taking is wrong or there is some other issue thanks....
