2d axisymmetric problems

I'm having a few issues with axisymmetric modelling in Comsol5.0. I'm trying to model fluid flow in a tapering duct. I've drawn the geometry based on co-ordinates shown in figures exported from matlab but I'm running into a few problems. I've looked through the help files but I can't seem to find anything to help with:
Is it possible to insert a sequence of co-ordinates to create a geometry?
In a 2d axisymmetric model how do I specify which is the axis in my imported cross section?
If I import a DXF file, how can I specify where it will be? Is it possible to choose a corner of it and assign that as the origin?
Sometimes when I import a DXF file, curves appear as a series of independent dots rather than a smooth curve, will this cause problems later on?
Is there a step by step tutorial to modelling 2D axisymmetric flows?
