Issues with initial values in laminar level set

Please login with a confirmed email address before reporting spam

I am having some trouble with a model involving initial values with a laminar level set computation. According to the help file CFD Module>The Multiphase Flow Interfaces>Initial Values I should have two initial values one for my aqueous phase and one for my hydrophobic phase. However when ever I do this I get an error. The specific error I receive is “Error: Failed to find consistent initial values”. When I delete the second initial value this error does not occur. If I delete the initial value the model continues to solve albeit slowly. My questions are this. If I don’t have the second initial value am I solving for the same thing, or is there an error somewhere else and I should keep the second initial value?

I have attached the file to this for expediencies sake.

Thank you in advance

Zack

The handling of initial values in Two-phase laminar flow confuses me as well. When I set-up two initial value conditions, one for each sub domain as you do, I cannot see that they will be reflected when I obtain initial values of my first study step.
