COMSOL, Inc. is seeking a full-time webinar marketing specialist to join our Marketing department onsite in Burlington, MA.
Job Description
Your passion for creating engaging online events will help provide our audience with a positive and informative experience interacting with our brand. As part of our Field Marketing team, you will assist in executing on the webinar program strategy and lead our global webinar program. You will be part of a group tasked with connecting with our target audience. We run several webinars per month both on our own website and with vendors.
Primary Responsibilities
- Webinar planning and execution:
- Work with management and the Marketing and Sales departments to identify goals and target audiences.
- Identify relevant webinar topics to engage our target audiences by working together with management and experts from other departments as well as studying past performance data.
- Research new vendors and channels to reach our target audiences.
- Execute on the webinar program, booking and scheduling webinars, selecting topics, and confirming speakers.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal speakers, guest speakers, vendor contacts, and colleagues for all things related to webinars.
- Coordinate the creation of event materials ensuring consistency throughout.
- Schedule and conduct pre-event training sessions.
- Oversee and moderate the live events, including assisting the speakers on the back end, troubleshooting issues if they arise, and reading out questions during the Q&A.
- Ensure compliance with legal regulations, such as GDPR, when importing leads from vendor-hosted webinars.
- Marketing promotions for webinars:
- Work closely with management to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
- Coordinate the creation of materials to promote webinars across multiple channels such as email, social media, and paid advertising.
- Run performance tests to optimize marketing efforts and conversion rates.
- Post-event follow-up and performance analysis:
- Nurture leads generated from webinars with effective follow-up campaigns tailored to them.
- Work closely with the sales team to qualify and hand off leads for further sales opportunities.
- Monitor and compile performance metrics from our webinars and related marketing promotions.
- Gather feedback from attendees to refine future webinars.
- Analyze webinar performance metrics to maximize lead generation for the greatest ROI, measuring related KPIs.
- Support the Field Marketing team running our local annual in-person conference, the COMSOL Conference Boston.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience working in B2B marketing with experience in online events.
- Self-starter, who works both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong time management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to track multiple tasks for multiple projects, keeping projects on time, and reprioritizing as needed.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current eligibility to work in the U.S. No sponsorship for employment-based visas will be offered for this position.
Helpful Qualifications
- Positive, driven team player.
- Proficiency in using JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with webinar platforms such as GoToWebinar, On24, webinar.net, Zoom, GlobalMeet, and BigMarker.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Conceptual thinker with the ability to switch between the big picture and the details of a project.
