COMSOL 4.1 GUI frequent "unexpected error"

Often I try to do move a pane, not understanding the rules yet for how they behave and I get an error dialog that tells me to check the end of the log file.

I was solving a problem. And the error message keeps popping up. Clicking on "Show Log File" doesn't do anything.
