We are currently trying to simulate an electromagnetic coil induction to generate electrical power. The system consists of static planar coil and vibrating membrane with attached permanent magnet located perpendicular to the planar coil. The input is the mechanical power source such as, mechanical frequency, membrane deflections and forces, while the output should be the electric potential or currents. Last time we had simulated the magnetic field distribution of the coil and pemanent magnet. We also had simulated the mechanical propeetry of movable mebrane with attached permanen magnet. The generated electric potential can then be calculated as: intgr(E.ds)=-(dflux/dt)=-d/dt(Intgr(BxdA))
Here, We would like to know how COMSOL can couple the surface change of the vibrating magnet with the electromagnetic induction on to the coils ?
Your comment and suggestions are highly appreciated Regards,
