Best practices to speed up comsol simulations?

Has anyone seen anything in the docs about best practices to speed up comsol simulations? I'm doing some parametric sweeps in a frequency study and it takes a while to run.

I know this is several months later, but I am running into issues as well with needing to speed up calculations. From what I can tell, you need to reduce the degrees of freedom (DOF) as much as possible. You can see how many DOF your model solved for in the first few lines of the log tab (between progress and results in the lower right corner of the screen) after your model initializes.

I could be mistaken, but from what I understand, changing mesh parameters is the best way to reduce DOF and speed up calculation times because evidently, each mesh point is where the model calculates, so reducing the total number of mesh points should drastically reduce calculation times. Of course, this will lead to less accuracy, but there is always that trade off.
