Local Field Approximation for the Ion in the low pressure ICP(Inductively Coupled Plasma)

I have two questions about the LFA(Local field approximation) to calculate the ion temperature in the plasma module.
In LFA, I can determine the mobility by the polarizability through the Dalgarno model.
In here, the polarizability is the valuable which depends on the electric field like p/E (p: dipole moment, E: electric field), therefore I don't understand what polarzability of the electric field should be plugged.
Is there a representative electric field in here? such as the 1V/m so on...
Thank you!
