Good Evening,
I recently have been trying to work out the best route to simulate the deflection caused, when you heat a compound bimetallic strip with two materials of different rates of thermal expansion.
The end result is to calculate how long it will takes for the material to recover to its original form once the temperature has been removed.
If you have any thoughts, I would be extremely grateful.
Best regards
Ian C
