I know it's possible to define an interpolation function by reading in the point cloud data via a spreadsheet format text file. But it seems that the arguments can only be x, y, z. The interpolation function will be in the form of f(x,y,z). This blog describes how to do it www.comsol.se/blogs/using-poin...ud-data-in-your-comsol-model/.
In my simulation, I want to define a time- and space-dependant interpolation function, f(x, y, z, t). It's feasible if there are only a few time steps. We can specify the function for each time step. But in my case, I have hundreds of time steps, which means manually separating them is not very feasible. I m wondering if some of you have already encountered this problem and find a way to get around it.
