Hi,
Recently I simulate an elastic-plastic model in solid mechanics module. When I get the mises stress curve, as shown in fig.Mises. I found there are many waves on the curve. How can I avoid this waviness?
I have tried high order shape function(cubic) and the waviness becomes less obvious. However, I cannot use much higher(like quartic) because of the convergence problem. So I want to know is there other ways to avoid this waviness? Thanks!
Best,
Rong
