In the attached file i did not find these option in the comsol software 6.0. But as per PDF file in your portal, these options are there. Please help me out for this.

3 In the Settings window for Porous Medium, locate the Porous Medium section. 4 From the Porous medium type list, choose Local thermal nonequilibrium. 5 From the Interstitial convective heat transfer coefficient list, choose Spherical pellets. 6 In the dpe text field, type dp.

Hello Kapil,

The COMSOL software is licensed in a modular fashion, so not all installations are identical: depending on which modules were purchased by your institution, more or fewer capabilities will be available in the software. So when some feature appears to be "missing" in your installation compared to what is needed to complete a model according to our published documentation, it is usually because the license you are using does not include all the add-on modules required for the model in question. Another possible explanation would be that while your license includes all the needed modules your installation is of a different version than the documentation you are trying to follow (I.e. you are looking for a feature in a version of the software that predates the introduction of that feature).

Our model documentation usually explicitly states the list of required modules needed to follow the step-by-step instructions. To determine which modules are on your license, in the software go to File > Licensed and Used Products. In this case, it appears that you are referring to a model that requires the Porous Media Flow Module - In fact the jpg you attached seems to be a section of the manual entitled Introduction to the Porous Media Flow Module. So probably that is the module that's not on your license.

If you need to add modules to your license, please contact your local COMSOL representative.

Best regards,

Jeff
